Hello and welcome to busy women fitness!

This is a new website designed not only to support my ‘Bootcamp’ ladies but also to provide support to the thousands of women out there who struggle to exercise, are not sure what to do to lose weight, lose fat, or even, if you’re one of the lucky ones, put on weight!

I am an experienced instructor who has been teaching in the Leeds health clubs for the past twenty years! I was the first instructor to teach a class at The Village Hotel and Leisure Club in 1995  I am also a Physical Education teacher and was Head of P.E. at a school in Pontefract for 13 years. Together with my Sports Science degree and a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, I feel well equipped to help the many women out there who want to exercise!

I was inspired to set up this website by my friend who would not come to an exercise class with me as she was too embarrassed because she thought she was “too fat, couldn’t even do a press up and too uncoordinated!” She asked me to give her some exercises that she could practise at home before taking the ‘challenge’ of progressing to the gyms in the big bad world!

That was six months ago but she has ditched the gym and joined my ‘Bootcamp’ instead! She can now squat, lunge, do press ups and looks great!

For some women, particularly those with young children, finding the TIME to exercise may be the problem, or you may be just too tired to start! Even a ten minute workout can kick start your metabolism and boost your energy levels! So why not give it a go….if you live in the Leeds area, come and join like-minded ladies at ‘Bootcamp’.
